Logan Crooks was in some terrific form on Saturday in Burlington, Ontario. The young Canadian started the day off by qualifying for the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship as he edged past Keifer Durham to secure his place in the last 64 in the UK in November.
Crooks then claimed event no.5 of the CDC Evolution Tour. The young Canadian whitewashed Jamison Merritt 6-0 in the final as he recorded a 77.7 average. Prior to that, Crooks enjoyed victories over James Butler (4-0), Kaden Anderson (4-2) & Nicholas Findlay. Dropping just two legs over the course of the event.
Later on in the day, Crooks completed a majestic treble as he claimed event no.6 of the CDC Evolution Tour. In event no.6, Crooks faced Keifer Durham in another final in what was a 6-3 victory for the youngster from Alberta. En route to the final, Crooks enjoyed a string of successes over Jamison Merritt (4-0), Hayden Brown (4-0), Gavin Nicoll (5-4).
It was a fantastic day for the Alberta-based star, and there’s more to play for on Sunday with CDC Evolution Tour events 7 & 8 still to come.
